Hi! Are you here because of the title? Doesn’t it sound a bit ridiculous? Much as it sounds weird, there are lots of benefits of putting ice cubes on your face! And this simple skin-improving method is free of charge!

Time for skin icing!

I’ve heard that face icing is Kate Moss’s favorite beauty hack, especially when she tries to hide signs of sleepless nights or simply look well-rested in the morning (even after a long party).

Many people decide to follow her footsteps and use the same skin care trick. The result? Glowing skin, less swelling, less visible pores, clear skin and… face lift effect! Will you dare to try the touch of coldness during the skin care routine or you shiver just thinking of it? I say go for it! You can get rid of face lines and tired-looking, dull skin!

Rubbing ice cubes on the skin. What steps to follow?

Take an ice cube and wrap it in a clean paper towel or a thin, linen cloth. If you have muslin squares then it’s great! Let the cube melt a bit and make the cloth wet and then start massaging, moving the icy “bundle” across the clean face skin.

Remember!
Never rub the ice directly on the skin; always place a piece of fabric between the cube and the skin to avoid frostbite and skin redness.

Benefits of rubbing ice cubes on the skin

  • The great thing about face icing is it removes lymph buildup and swelling, which immediately tightens the skin and adds healthy shine.
  • Cold ice cubes also cause the skin pores and blood vessels to shrink, making them less noticeable. This means face redness reduction.
  • Are you facing imperfections and acne breakouts? Put an ice cube on the skin to reduce inflammation and swelling.

How do I up the face icing treatment for better results?

How about a combo of ice cubes and super-strong antioxidants? Make the ice cubes with green tea for even better results. I’m sure your skin will love it. I use green tea ice cubes for a fast massage every morning, only 5 minutes. The effect? WOW!

Let me know if you have ever tried skin icing and how it worked for you. Bye!
