Especially that homemade cosmetics are as effective as the drugstore ones which let’s be honest are overpaid.

Let’s get to work <3

THE BEST FACE MASKS

THE RECIPE NO. 1
The universal oat flakes facial
  • 3 tbsp of oat flakes
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp of natural yogurt

Grind oat flakes in a mill or blender. Mix it with honey and yogurt. Apply to the face and leave for 15 minutes. Then rinse it down with warm water.

How does oat flakes facial works? It is one of the most versatile face masks the can be used for all skin types. It effectively nourishes and provides skin with a radiant appearance because it contains plenty of vitamins and minerals, among many, selenium and magnesium. It improves skin complexion and moisturizes due to honey being a natural humectant. Oat flakes facial works even for sensitive skin because it can bring a calming effect to it thanks to yogurt.

RECIPE NO. 2
Yeast facial for acne-prone skin
  • 1/4 yeast bar
  • 2 tbsp of milk
  • 1 tsp of olive oil

Melt the yeast in milk to create a thick paste. Add olive oil and apply to cleansed face. Rinse down after around 15 minutes.

What is the effect of yeast facial use? Most of all it perfectly cleanses, has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action. That is why it is particularly recommended to acne-prone skin but also oily and combination skin. You just need to apply it once or twice a week to observe a noticeable change in your skin appearance – it will become smooth and radiant.

RECIPE NO. 3
Fruit facial with banana and avocado
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 0,5 of avocado pulp
  • 2 tbsp of natural yogurt
  • 1 tbsp of any oil

Squash with a fork or blend the banana and avocado. Add yogurt and any given oil, e.g. argan, almond, macadamia. Apply it to the face and rinse down after 15 minutes.

Fruit-based facials rock! Avocado is rich in vitamins A, C, E, and B, but also potassium, copper, and magnesium. The banana contains plenty of zinc, iron, and protein. When combined with oil full of fatty acids and calming yogurt they create a face mask that can restore balance and bring comfort to dry skin. A fruit-based facial is very simple to make so it is worth making DIY cosmetics to nourish, moisturize and improve skin complexion.

THE BENEFITS OF DIY FACIALS USE

Why exactly I am trying to convince you to use homemade face masks since you can get those in a store. Well, because DIY facials are cosmetics that:

  • are entirely natural so safe to the skin,
  • do not contain any artificial ingredients, preservatives, etc.,
  • those are 100% made by you so you know exactly what they contain,
  • they can be perfectly matched with the current needs of the skin,
  • they work as effectively while being way cheaper than the ready product,
  • they allow versatile use in everyday skincare.

There can be plenty of reasons but I will simply say: TRY IT and let me know in the comment how it went!
