It is clear as a day that lately your hands may not beautiful as they should and let’s be real they don’t have an easy life. Are your hands also dry? Parched and tired? Hmm… I know there’s not much comfort but lately, a whole world suffers from dry hands. Disinfected, super clean, and mega dry. I have searched for the best ways to take care of my hands and the best creams that will work on my dry hands. Meet my effective methods for dry hands.

Dry hand… Let’s be serious for a moment

Dry skin of hands is not only an unaesthetic issue. Yes, I know it looks bad, but remember that skin is more DEFENSELESS. It irritates easily, gets infected, or even wounds and inflammations can appear. That is why we have to support it and regenerated it in order to prevent the catastrophe.
What is more, hands are often more subjected to sun rays than the face. Hand creams are rarely enhanced with SPF. Moreover, the sun is responsible for the ugly hyperpigmentations that appear on our hands after excessive exposure to the sun rays.

What will help you for the dry hands – the brief manual of good hand creams

I cannot imagine a situation where I don’t have a hand cream in my handbag. Personally I use a few of them because I have hand creams placed in various different places like the bathroom, kitchen, on my desk, and of course in my bag. I reach for them constantly but that wasn’t always the case. Once upon a time, I notoriously forgot to use hand cream. It was a downhill road that led my skin of hands to ruin. Now I have creams in every room, including by the bed – application of hand cream is the last thing I do before going to sleep. Then I wake up with super smooth hands.
Does it matter what hand cream you are using? Of course, some of them should have never been on the drugstore shelves because their use causes only more dryness in the long run.
That is why it is important for the cream to have a good composition and numerous substances that can regenerate and protect them in their daily endeavors.
Such ingredients are among many:

  • natural oils and fatty acids
  • ceramides
  • urea
  • cholesterol

Hand creams are ‘protective gloves in a tube’. Hand cream is something also men should use, not just women so ladies, go ahead and present your partners with some hand cream. Do I recommend any in particular? Yes, I have plenty of them so I think of doing some ranking of them one day. For now, stick to the rule of naturality – the more natural ingredients in your hand cream the better.

Why should hand cream be natural?

It’s simple really, natural ingredients will not cause dryness and will take better care of your skin. Those are used in hand creams in order to condition the skin. Natural components do not cause allergy and are safe for contact with food and we all know how often freshly creamed hands hold sandwiches, fruits, and how often the cream can get to your organism. Then let’s at least make sure it’s natural. Enjoy! 😉

Natural at-home skincare for hands

Do you want your hands to be silky smooth and regenerated – try our great-grandmas’ methods and use paraffin hand mask or just (and that is my personal fave) mix castor oil, argan oil or olive oil and complement the mix with a tablespoon of lemon juice. The mix must be deep enough for the hands to be covered entirely with it. Now slightly heat up the oils so that they’re warm but not hot. Dip the hands in the mix for about 10 minutes. 3 treatments and you won’t recognize your own hands!

To sum up – beautiful hands – how to achieve them?

For those of you who do not like to read too much, I have a brief summary:

  • APPLY CREAM AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN
  • GET CREAMS WITH NATURAL COMPOSITION
  • CLEAN UP THE HOUSE WEARING GLOVES
  • CASTOR OIL + OLIVE OIL + LEMON JUICE = BEAUTIFUL HANDS!

That’s it. Let me know how are your hands after the treatment because I can assure you that they will be beautiful.
