Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that the face masks available in a drugstore are bad, but I think that there are plenty of DIY face masks that are way better than the readymade. I’ve finally understood that there is no point in going shopping to buy ONLY one face mask. Honestly, I can prepare one myself. And it’s action will be equally good, or even better than a face mask bought in a drugstore. Nowadays, I can choose and pick among a few really good and proven face masks that work wonders. Here are they, the best homemade face masks.

DIY: The Best Homemade Face Masks Made from Vegetables & Fruit

1. Apple mask for oily and combination skin

Grate one apple, add one spoon of natural yoghurt and a spoon of honey. Combine the ingredients and apply the mixture to the face. Rinse off after 20 minutes. This face mask is perfect for making skin clean. Also, it relieves irritations and accelerates epidermis self-regenerating processes.

2. Pear face mask for dry and dehydrated skin

This face mask saved my face numerous times after sunning my skin for a little bit too long.

Grate a pear, add a spoon of milk or high fat cream and a teaspoon of honey. In the case of oily skin, add whipped egg white to the pear grated flesh. Try to get an eco-egg… form a happy hen 🙂 Remember, the higher quality of the ingredients you use, the better action the face mask delivers.

3. Peach face mask evening skin tone

If your face skin is dull and lacks shine, a peach should help you. Thank to this fruit, you can create a mask that will refresh your skin instantly. You can treat it as an anti-stress face mask. When it comes to preparing this DIY cosmetic, it has to be made in a similar manner as the above-mentioned ones: combine a spoon of yoghurt, a spoon of honey and peach flesh…. or even flesh form two peaches.

4. Revitalizing vitamin-boost face mask from black and red currant

This is a face mask destined for skin which… lacks a lot 🙂

It nourishes wonderfully, helps remove dead epidermis cells, supplies skin with vitamin C (at the same time it highlights skin and evens skin tone) as well as feeds skin with a set of B-group vitamins, vitamin A, folic acid and biotin. Mash a handful either of black or red currant and, of course, mix it with cream, honey or natural yoghurt.

5. Cucumber face mask

I’m sure many of you know this face mask. Cucumber face mask softens and moisturises skin. Also, it refreshes face on hot days. After sunning oneself, cucumber face masks soothes all irritations and highlights skin along with possible discolorations. You can grate the cucumber and add one spoon of potato flour. Let the mask sit on your face for 15-20 minutes.

6. Pumpkin face mask for sensitive and delicate skin

People having dry, delicate and sensitive skin will definitely appreciate the beneficial action delivered by pumpkin face mask. It soothes irritations, is gentle and doesn’t trigger allergic reactions. Moreover, it replenishes skin with water. The good news is that this face mask is really easy to prepare. Take a spoon of cooked and grated pumpkin to combine it with a dash of honey and a teaspoon of milk.

7. Moisturising and smoothing strawberry face mask

This mask helps restore youthful look to face. Moreover, it balances pH level, acidifies skin delicately, smooths out and boosts skin condition. At the same time, this is the fastest face mask I know 🙂 All you have to do is mash a few strawberries using a fork and apply it to face. Rinse the strawberry mask off after 15 minutes. Voila!

I hope that these very easy to prepare face masks which don’t occupy much time will frequently make your daily face care complete. Definitely, most of them work better than many readymade face masks available in drugstores due to the fact that the DIY face masks are composed of fresh and natural substances.
