Today I’m coming with a review of the new Nanolash cluster lashes which I recently got my hands on. As you know, I love testing any new beauty releases. If I don’t order something to test it, I can’t sleep at night – and after all, sleep is essential ;)!
When Nanolash’s offer expanded by the cluster lashes for DIY application that are supposed to be easy to use and last up to 5 days, I didn’t think long about buying them. Plus, lash extensions ready in 10 minutes? I couldn’t pass up such a challenge.
How did it look in practice though? That’s what I want to talk about today.
DIY application cluster eyelashes from Nanolash – what makes them special?
Nanolash DIY Lash Extensions are designed in eight styles, seamlessly transitioning from delicate and natural, to ultra-thick and long – Hollywood or Russian style. The case contains 36 lash clusters.
You get to choose whatever option is best for you. The multidimensional lash clusters with a 3D effect are divided into 3 lengths: 10, 12, and 14 mm. This is a well-thought-out solution to not only match the selected clusters to shorter and longer natural lashes but also to mix different lengths to achieve the desired effect.
I have to say that in terms of quality and appearance, these false cluster lashes look amazing. Nanolash cluster lashes for at-home application resemble natural lashes and feel like the real deal too, they are soft and flexible and feel feathery light. They feature a criss-cross style and mixed lengths for the most natural finish and a stunning lash look.
After taking the clusters out of the case, I was also impressed with their softness and flexibility. They are made with top-quality modern materials – the lash clusters are lightweight, but durable and ensure you can reuse them to get as many wears as possible. The lashes come on thin, flexible strips, which ensures they blend seamlessly with natural ones and they are comfortable to wear even on a daily basis.
Importantly, these cluster lashes for at-home application are also available in Nanolash complete kits, containing a lash extension applicator, a bonder, and sealer to fix your lash look, and a remover for removing and cleaning the clusters. Eyelash extensions at home – it’s never been this easy before
A brief introduction for those who want to get lash extensions at home for the first time: before I got down to work, I cleaned the eye area with a mild face foam. Oil-based cosmetics are not recommended for eyelash extensions. This is something you also have to keep in mind while wearing them.
Applying the cluster lashes by myself was really easy – in my opinion, the biggest credit can be given to the well-designed lash extension applicator and the properly-shaped brushes.
First, I applied the bonder in the same way I would use regular mascara and waited a few seconds. Once it gained the right tackiness, I got down to the clusters. I applied the clusters one at a time, underneath my natural lashes, about 1 mm away from the lash line. Using the applicator, I squeezed the lashes along their entire length. Finally, I applied the sealer all over the lashes to get rid of the tackiness and ultimately prolong the lifespan of my lash look. After finishing with one eye, I followed exactly the same steps with the other.
How did the Nanolash cluster lashes work for me?
Is it easy to apply cluster lashes on my own with Nanolash DIY Lash Extensions?
Yes. It was easy to place the cluster lashes in place using both ends of the applicator. The flexible band made it easier to match the lashes to the shape of my lash line.
Is it possible to get lash extensions at home in 10 minutes?
Yes, even if you are doing it for the first time.
How many lash clusters are used per application?
In my case, it was 5 for each eye. I wanted to achieve a defined effect of thicker lashes and it definitely worked. I could have successfully used only 4 each, but this is a matter of both individual preferences and eye shape. It is safe to say that these DIY lash extensions ensure a minimum of 4 applications. It can be more if you clean and reuse the clusters properly.
Nanolash cluster lashes – how would I rate their durability and my experience?
I applied the lash clusters before the weekend to have some extra time in case touch-ups were necessary. They were not needed even though I even slept with my eyelash extensions on. And they lasted an entire 5 days. I was consistently diligent about cleansing them gently with oil-free products and I ditched my eye makeup. My long and thick cluster lashes were enough on their own. I wore them comfortably, modern false lashes are very different from those used just a few years ago. I didn’t feel them and didn’t see any traces of the joining points. The feedback I got at work was definitely positive :).
After 5 days, I removed the clusters with the included remover without any problems. I also used it to clean the lashes after taking them off. They remained intact, so I plan to reuse them the next time.
Can Nanolash cluster lashes be worn longer than 5 days?
I think so, and perhaps I will test it next time. During my first application, I simply wanted to test the product and I am definitely satisfied with it in terms of quality and reliability. In my opinion, it’s a great value for money compared to the cost of one-time professional lash extensions.
