There are so many BUTs that I decided to write this entry to explain how to attach false eyelashes, what to use for taking them off and what should be borne in mind. I consider this entry highly useful especially for those of you who has a smack at their first time with this make-up accessory.

Are false eyelashes safer?

How to apply false eyelashes? MANUAL
False eyelash attachment procedure isn’t difficult at all, believe me. What really matters are mostly your manual skills, and since the stripes are very delicate, it’s worth practising grabbing them before proceeding with sticking the lashes to your eyelids. It would be pretty sad if we damaged the false eyelashes before placing them at the right position and observing the effect ツ Let’s start!
False eyelash attaching step by step:
1. Do eye make-up
Before attaching false eyelashes, you have to apply eye make-up, which means that you should put eyeshadows and an eyeliner on. Basically, this stage is optional because you can resign from wearing make-up and go for false eyelashes only. Nevertheless, I would suggest you to slightly darken the eyelash lines to obtain more natural result and intensify the effect of thick eyelashes.
2. Trim false eyelashes
This is a stage that has to be undergone with every pair of false eyelashes you want to put on. Firstly, we have to take the lashes from the box in a super delicate way, we can’t tear them nor misshape. After that, we should put them close to our eyes and check whether the lashes are too long or not. In most cases, you have to trim the lashes so as to adjust them to the shape of your eyes; this prevents the false eyelashes from coming unstuck at the edges. Warning! You always need to trim the false lashes on their external side (the one that is going to sit close to the inner corner of the eye), so as not to create this unnatural look connected with weird eyelash lengths. Last but not least, false eyelashes should be placed in 1-2 mm distance from the edge of the iris. This will deliver the most natural look. Moreover, in this way the false eyelashes aren’t supposed to disturb you.
3. Use adhesive
Once trimmed, you can try to attach the false eyelashes. Grab the lashes with your fingers or tweezers and distribute a minimal quantity of the adhesive along them. It’s a good idea to add some extra portions to the ends of false eyelashes (just a drop will be enough), so as to make the lashes sit well on their ends. Now, the most important issue at this stage: wait 30-50 seconds to let the adhesive get a little bit more dense. Then we can be sure that the adhesive won’t smudge all over our eyelids and the false eyelashes will stay at the right place.
4. Attach false eyelashes
Finally, you can put the false eyelashes on. No worries! With the aid of a good adhesive and well-trimmed lashes this task should go off without a hitch. False eyelashes should be put on, using tweezers, possibly as close to the base of natural eyelashes as it is possible (this intensifies action of the adhesive). You can still do some alterations, move the lashes sideway until the time the adhesive gets dry. Oh! Don’t bother if you notice the adhesive being white because it turns transparent when air-dried. If you feel like doing this, you can darken eyelash line with an eyeliner or a dark eye shadow and coat the lashes with a mascara.
How to remove false eyelashes?
At the end, I’m going to give you a few hints concerning taking false eyelashes off. First and foremost, it’s better to do this gently because if we treat the false eyelashes delicately, they can serve us for a very, very long time. How to remove false eyelashes? It would be hard to pull out our natural eyelashes unless we apply a really vigorous movement. We can get rid of the adhesive residues using a regular bi-phase remover or an oil (adhesives are waterproof). The last step is cleansing the false eyelashes and putting them back into their packaging. Do it delicately so as to prevent them from misshaping.
