Today’s post is dedicated to eyelashes. You often ask me what I do that makes them so long. To be honest, Mother Nature didn’t present me with nice lashes. I owe their length, thickness and intense color to 4 things improving their condition and appearance. If you want to know them, keep scrolling!

1. Miraculous castor oil

Regular application of castor oil doubled the length and thickness of my lashes. It is a part of my evening routine and I can’t imagine a better last step of the beauty regimen. I apply it using some silicone-bristle brush but you can use an old and clean mascara wand or a Q-tip. It’s amazing that a natural and cheap thing produces such remarkable effects. I also use it on my brows and it makes them grow super fast!

Some of you told me you can’t use castor oil on lashes because it caused some reactions. In this case, I recommend an alternative, which is a lash growth serum. I suggest looking for a product which holds some natural ingredients. Nanolash is a good example.

2. Biotin supplements

Biotin maintains good condition and a nice appearance of hair and nails. I supplement biotin regularly and it really makes my hair – including lashes and brows – grow much faster. Beyond that, my nails are more resilient and stopped breaking. I believe that biotin and castor oil take credit for my long lashes.

3. Make-up removal is a must

I think I’m not the only person who hates taking make-up off, especially after a party when bed is the only thing I dream of… Unfortunately, make-up removal is a must. Leaving mascara on for the entire night guarantees lots of unpleasant consequences like eye irritations or lash breakage.

4. Remove your make-up gently

Speaking of make-up removal, you need to know how to do it the right way. Eyes require more gentleness than the rest of the face. You can’t scrub the mascara off. Gently press a cotton pad to the eyelid and wait for around 30 seconds so the product has enough time to come off more easily. Then, wash the face to make sure all product residue is gone.

I rounded up all natural ways to get longer lashes. Have any of them surprised you?
