Hi, girls!

Our skin requires the non-stop care. The morning skin care routine looks different than the evening beauty rituals. The way you treat your skin during the day will be reflected by the nice looks in the evening. It might sound a bit complicated but let me try to explain it in the post. Enjoy reading!

Morning skin care

Start the day with a shower and balm application which makes a good match to let you kickstart the day and deliver skin hydration. Shower the body for a few minutes, using a fruity gel or soap with natural ingredients. Avoid products that make the skin dry – regular soaps and strongly cleansing cosmetics. Remember to apply a moisturising lotion right after drying the skin. The cosmetic should have a lightweight and quick-absorbing consistency so you can immediately get dressed and go to work or school.

After showering and applying the balm, it’s time for cleaning and moisturising the facial skin. Use a toner, micellar water or foam. The composition and consistency of products must match your skin type. Follow similar rules while choosing a day cream. It should have hydrating and protective properties; it can replace a make-up primer.

Skin care during the day

Take care of your lips and hands throughout the day. Use a moisturising and protective lipstick, vaseline or cream. In summer, go for SPF-enriched cosmetics whereas in winter – choose rich formulas. Apply a hand lotion that contains urea, vitamins and other hydrating ingredients. The best skin care products leave a protective layer on the skin surface. You must take care of your skin hydration and make-up during the day. Remove the excess of sebum with blotting papers. Use a mist or thermal water to spray onto face, ensuring moisture. Once the product absorbs, dust face with a powder and touch up your make-up.

Evening skin care

Start the evening care routine with removing make-up and using a toner. Get rid of all make-up products, sebum and dirt that settled during the day. Remember to use gentle motions while taking off eyeshadow and mascara. You cannot harshly rub the eyes to avoid irritating the sensitive skin around the eye area. Press a cotton pad – soaked in the remover – to eyelids; the cosmetics should dissolve after a while. Next, wipe face with a toner to restore the natural pH.

The next stage of the evening skin care is a bath, body scrub and applying a lotion. Warm water softens the epidermis and opens skin pores. Exfoliating dead cells and preventing in-growns will be much easier. Enrich the bath with an essential oil, salts or bubble bombs. Devote up to 20 minutes to the bath; apply a moisturising balm afterwards for smooth, soft and elastic skin. Remember about the face skin care; use a night cream or a nutrient-rich serum.
